A rather untypical subject matter for me, commissioned by The London Business School, Westgate Design and Aston Martin for one of the Executive MBA programmes run by the Business School. The brief was to illustrate accuracy and high performance through detailed design. I looked for landscapes within the bodywork of the vehicles, using them as a metaphor for brilliance and perfection whilst keeping everything very smooth, soft and abstract. The main challenge of this shoot was to avoid any reflections that so easily appear on anything that is this shiny. I used a couple of macro lenses, opened right up to f1.4, to really maximise the shallow depth of field and narrow focus.
