A behind the scenes look at a fun, fast and furious day for We Launch, a new client of mine. Unfortunately it wasn’t George Clooney taking the photos, just a funny looking tall bloke.
Whilst visiting friends over the New Year I had a beautiful walk along the sea front at Bognor Regis. The light was absolutely perfect with a low winter sun. The air was still and the sea was calm. A low, thin veil of cloud softened the cold light. All I had with me was my phone to capture the sights but it has inspired me to visit again very soon and perhaps make a short film with my Canon 5D III. Unlike King George V, I’m keen to return.
A bit of fun on a recent shoot trying to keep a radio controlled helicopter in just the right position to keep the focus sharp and the composition interesting….it took many attempts and multiple crash landings.
On a recent photoshoot in Russia, my day off found me wandering about the city of Moscow.
I think this new TV ad from M&S is fantastic and beautifully shot. The addition of the “Rather Be” soundtrack by Clean Bandit fits perfectly.
This is a recently filmed series of very short clips for one of my clients homepage on their website.
I’ve been working with Fabrik Brands and Birkbeck University this week shooting on location around Bloomsbury. The crew and I were treated to a view from the very top of the tower at Senate House, a place where few have been. This imposing building was once the Ministry of Information during WWII and I am told that George Orwell was inspired to base his description of The Ministry of Truth on it.
A short clip from a film I’m working on which is still in the editing stages but soon to be finished.
A handful of shots taken in Barcelona several years ago for Corbis on one of their European photoshoots, one of which has found its way to a high street bank window in Putney.
Arriving in Brussels the evening before a photoshoot for the University of Kent, I took a stroll on a warm evening across the city snapping away with my phone.
